Pause and find peace in nature
Small-group sessions in beautiful and peaceful pieces of nature across our bustling city.
These sessions include simple meditation techniques using breath, body awareness and connection to nature. They are suitable for experienced meditators, complete beginners and anyone in between.
Nature can facilitate and deepen a meditation practice. Participants at these sessions often report finding meditation easier and more profound than usual. Neuroscientists have used MRI technology to show that nature quietens the parts of the brain associated with rumination and stimulates the parts associated with empathy and compassion. It also lowers our heart rate and reduces stress levels. In essence, nature does half the work for us!
Morning sessions are the perfect way to set the tone of the day, lunchtime sessions can re-energise and inspire and evening sessions are wonderful for drawing a line under the day so you can enjoy your evening and then a good night’s sleep.
